Cyclamen cilicium is an award winning tuberous perennial that grows delicate, rosy-pink flowers with reflexed, twisted petals, marked with a purple blotch at their base.
These cheerful, slightly honey-scented blooms will last for several weeks, throughout September, October and November, above their decorative foliage of broad, heart-shaped green leaves, adorned with elegant silver patterns.
These beautiful flowers are best planted en masse in front of shrubs, around trees, mixed borders and in rock gardens. They are excellent naturalisers and, if allowed, will spread to create a small colony over time.
Cyclamen will grow in a wide range of soils provided there is good drainage. They like partial shade and good supply of humus such as leaf mould or compost. Plant these bulbs roughly 3cm deep and 15cm apart from each other to allow space for them to flower.
