Cotinus coggygria ‘Royal Purple’ (3 litre pot)

Cotinus coggygria ‘Royal Purple’ also known as smoke tree ‘Royal Purple’.

This shrub is ideal for the back of borders and creates interest throughout the year because of the dramatic change in colour of the leaves.

It is a large deciduous shrub with a bushy rounded habit. It has attractive deep purple oval leaves which turn bright red during autumn. In the summer it produces wonderful feather-like, pink inflorescences (cluster of small flowers on a branch stem)

Grows up to 5m in height and will thrive in full sun or partial shade.
