The Bramblecrest Chedworth Open Weave Double Hanging Cocoon in Sandstone Rattan is a modern take on a traditional hanging garden swing seat for two.
This attractive cocoon egg chair is perfect for relaxing together, but equally just as comfy for one. Create a beautiful feature for your garden, but also somewhere for you to relax in style with a friend or loved one. Bramblecrest have included handles on each side to help you get in or out of the Cocoon with ease.
The design of this striking piece of outdoor furniture is such that you can sit back and relax into the egg chair seat whilst being safely cocooned by the comfortable Herringbone Barley cushions, which are season-proof. This means that you can leave the egg chair cocoon uncovered during summer months, because the cushions are shower-proof. Although, we do recommend covering the cocoon overnight or whilst not in use, to protect it from bird droppings and leaves.
The open weave means that you can make the most of a sunny spot or enjoy dappled light, if placed under the shade of a tree. As with all our hanging egg chairs, the weave is weather-resistant and the metal frame has been powder coated for additional protection. Try to leave the cocoon in position once set up, because dragging it might damage the powder coating.
This double hanging egg chair cocoon comes in three parts and only requires some simple home assembly. Once set up, you can leave it outside all year round. This lovely double cocoon from the Chedworth range by Bramblecrest is also suitable for indoors too.

Care instructions
- The steel poles are powder coated to enhance protection against exposure to the elements.
- Avoid scratching the steel frame to prevent rust.
- Caution is advised when moving cocoons and we recommend that they are lifted rather than dragged.
- Cushions can be covered in the summer months provided they are kept well ventilated and a weekly visual check against mould, damp and animal damage is carried out.
- During prolonged periods of non-use, and in the winter months it is advised that all cushions are stored inside in a warm, safe and dry environment.
- Cushion storage boxes are useful for overnight storage during summer months.
- Clean rattan using a non-abrasive sponge and lukewarm detergent-free soapy water.
- Cushion covers can be hand washed up to 30 degrees and spillages should be wiped up as soon as possible.
