The ‘Braeburn’ Apple Tree is a wonderful and versatile variety of apple tree that produces a delicious, sweet apple that is perfect for eating from the tree or for cooking.

By growing this hugely popular commercial variety at home, you can enjoy a much better flavour than cold stored apples. In addition to producing deliciously tasty fruit, this tree also looks beautiful. With its green oval shaped leaves and bright white flowers in spring, it adds interest to your garden throughout the seasons.

The Braeburn Apple Tree is also a great way to attract bees and other pollinators into your garden. This has been recognised by the Royal Horticultural Society who have added it to their Plants for Pollinators Collection.

To get the most from your Braeburn Apple Tree plant it in a bright and sunny spot, in a sheltered location, and in moist well drained soil. Prune your tree each year to ensure you continue to enjoy a large crop.

This apple tree is available on two root stocks:

M26 is a semi-dwarf variety that is suitable for smaller gardens, where space is at a premium. This rootstock grows to a mature height of 2.5m (8ft) after 10 years.
MM106 is a semi-vigorous variety that is commonly one of the largest rootstocks available. It is best suited to large gardens, where space is not an issue. This rootstock grows to a mature height of 3.5m (11ft) after 10 years.
