A pack of 2 Begonia ‘Expresso Sugardip Pink’ bulbs produce exceptionally large, vibrant pink blooms with a delicate ruffled white trim. Lasting through to autumn, producing a wonderful cascade of flowers, these Begonias look stunning added to hanging baskets, containers and borders where you can admire its flamingo pink hues each day.
Plant this wonderful bloom in a hanging basket that is brimming with Begonias or plant its alongside plants with contrasting textures such as a beautiful fern with its wonderful lacey foliage, or Hostas for its large statement leaves.
To get the best display start tubers off indoors from late February onwards and plant out in their final spot after the risk of frost has passed. Use multipurpose compost and ideally find a position of partial shade.
When planting, put the Begonia tubers just below the compost surface, covering with 3-5cm/1-2″ of compost. Space your tubers about 8-10cm/3-4″ apart, depending on your pot size, or 20cm/8″ apart when planting outside in a garden bed.
