Loved for its superbly flavourful, thick and tasty purple spears that grow from Asparagus ‘Pacific Purple’. With two male crowns in a pack, you’ll be able to produce high yields of very early crops that are also good for forcing to extend the season.

Given just a couple of years to establish, these crowns will supply a reliable, delicious crop of asparagus spears, that can be enjoyed in a range of culinary dishes.

To get the best from your Asparagus crowns, plant them in nutrient-rich soil, in a sunny but sheltered position. Leave the plant to establish for the first two years without harvesting any spears, and allowing it to grow feathery stems before cutting it back in autumn. This will give it chance to establish a robust crown, giving you better yields year after year.
