Allium ‘Violet Beauty’ (Allium Stipitatum)

The Allium ‘Violet Beauty’ (Allium Stipitatum) produces a dome of intriguing star-shaped flowers that bloom a delightful lilac colour with a pleasant fragrance.

Whilst perfect as a cut flower, these bulbs are best in a sunny spot in fertile soil dispersed through the middle of a garden border or in a drift. These elegant flowers mix well with most shades of blue and purple flowers, especially those that are low growing perennials that can grow at the base of the Allium.

These bulbs should be planted 15cm deep and 15cm allow room for the flowers to bloom.
