Vibrant upright purple spheres appear from this Allium ‘Stipitatum’ bulb pack. They naturalise easily and the dome shape looks great as a cut or dried flower to enjoy around the home.

This versatile Allium ‘Stipitatum’ bulb has brilliant early summer flowering blooms that will naturalise easily and return year after year. They look wonderful when planted as part of herbaceous borders, in pots or planted in drifts for a more natural look or as part of a cottage garden. Due to the intricate shape and long length of the stem, the delightful starburst of clustering flowers also looks magnificent when viewed up close in a pot.

To top it off, these flowers are particularly good at attracting bees and other pollinators to your outdoor space and are also beneficial to insects.

These easy to grow and hardy blooms prefer a position in full sun, but the flowers will last longer in partial shade. They grow well in moist, well-drained soil and will ideally need compost or well-rotted manure each year to ensure you get the most from this enchanting bloom.
