The Allium ‘Nigrum’ blooms with small creamy-white flowers that feature a green centre, growing from a tall, sturdy stem.

This Allium is the perfect choice for planting at the front or centre of sun-trapped borders, or scattered in drifts with other Alliums or grasses to achieve a wild flower asthetic. These pretty white globes also work well as cut flowers used in indoor arrangements.

Plant these bulbs 15cm deep and 15cm apart to allow the flowers space to bloom fully. These flowers will become dormant in late summer, with the grey-green leaves starting to die back at the start of the following summer before the bloom cycle starts again.
