Allium Nectaroscordum siculum (15 bulbs)

A pack of 15 Nectaroscordum siculum (Sicilian Honey Garlic) bulbs produce a resilient and striking variety from the Allium family, that will create a wonderful display when planted in a cluster.

This beautiful bloom grows large clusters of downward facing bell-shaped flowers. These flowers feature a mixture of green, cream and pink petals, rising on a tall leafless stem.

Flowering in late spring and early summer, these flowers have a strong garlic scent, hence the name Sicilian Honey Garlic. This plant is a great choice for attracting bees and other pollinators to your garden, which has been recognised by its inclusion in the RHS Plants for Pollinators collection.

They look stunning planted in beds, borders and suit a range of styles from Mediterranean gardens to city and cottage gardens. For the best results, plant in groups of at least five with other allium varieties and taller perennials.

The versatile Allium also makes an excellent cut flower, or it can be dried, to enjoy around the home.

Plant these bulbs around 5cm deep and 5cm apart into the soil. Alliums will grow in a wide range of soils provided there is good drainage. They like sunshine but the flowers will last longer in partial shade.
