The Allium ‘Globemaster’ bears rounded flower heads that feature deep violet flowers around a metre off the ground .
Grows perfectly when planted in pots, dotted through sunny borders, or into drifts with decorative grasses, mixed with other Alliums. It also makes for a wonderful cut flower in arrangements.
Plant these bulbs 15cm deep into enriched soil, but space them out by around 25cm to make room for the large flower heads. It’s best for these to be planted in well-drained soil that doesn’t get too waterlogged. Divide any large clumps of soil in autumn and spring, ready for growth in summer.
