The Allium ‘Giant Onion’ (Allium Giganteum) tower at a whopping 1-1.5m, with a tight ball of perfect purple flowers at the top of the rigid stem. A great focal point for any garden.
These giant Alliums are best planted in groups at the back of a flowering border with sunny spots, or on their own dotted amongst grasses. With pale green leaves that start to die back once the flowers appear in the summer, this gorgeous giant provides vertical interest in gardens and outdoor spaces.
Plant these bulbs 15cm deep and around 20cm away from each other to stop them getting too over crowded.
