Flowering in early summer with repeat flushes later in the season, David Austin Alberic BarbierĀ® is a beautiful rambling rose that produces masses of fully-double, creamy white flowers. These stunning blooms emerge from pretty yellow buds with a delightfully light and fruity fragrance.
Hardy in all of the UK, this rambling rose is vigorous and capable of reaching a height of up to 7.5m within its first three years. Its stems are flexible and easy to train, with almost evergreen, glossy, dark green foliage. This easy to train nature makes it ideal for growing along pergolas, large garden structures or into large trees.
Introduced in 1860, this beautiful rambling rose has stood the test of time and received the prestigious Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society for its easy, consistent growth and suitability to the UK climate.

To get the best floral display from your rose, plant it with a sprinkling of David Austin Mycorrhizal Fungi around the base to help the roots establish and encourage good plant health. We also recommend regularly feeding with rose food, once in late March or early April and again in July. Whilst this rose is in flower, deadhead the spent blooms to encourage new bud growth.
