Acer pseudoplatanus ‘Brilliantissimum’ is a brightly coloured Sycamore tree. In spring, wide palmate leaves open in a salmon-pink hue before turning yellow-green. Native to central and eastern Europe, this tree has grey-brown bark and is short in size, making it ideal for small gardens too.

This Sycamore has a wonderful round headed shape with branches arching outwards to form a globe-like structure. It reaches a mature height of 4 metres (13ft) and is suitable for any spot in the garden. To get the most from your Sycamore, plant it either in full sun or partial shade, in well drained and fertile soil.

In addition to looking beautiful, this tree has received the Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit for its reliability and consistency in the garden. It is also a great choice it you want to attract bees and pollinators to your garden.
