Gates Oakham raises £4,396.57 for Dove Cottage Day Hospice

Gates Garden Centre Oakham is thrilled to announce the successful completion of our two-year fundraising efforts for Dove Cottage Day Hospice. Over the course of 2023 and 2024, the garden centre raised a total of £4,396.57 to support the hospice’s vital work in the community.

Dove Cottage Day Hospice provides compassionate care and support to families living with palliative and life-limiting conditions. The charity provides a range of services including day care, nursing support & advocacy, dementia home-sitting, wellbeing activities, counselling and bereavement support. The hospice relies heavily on the generosity of the community to continue providing these essential services free of charge.

The funds raised by Gates Garden Centre Oakham will directly support Dove Cottage Day Hospice in delivering high-quality hospice care to local families.
