Fly High at Gates this Summer

As part of our continuing mission to bring you fun, exciting and inspiring events we’ve partnered with our friends at Fly4Real to bring you the thrill of skydiving in the UK’s First Outdoor Skydiving Simulator.

Utilising state-of-the-art technology, the simulator provides a realistic skydiving experience that will leave you breathless. Feel the freedom as you soar in the open air and experience the rush of adrenaline!

Who are Fly4Real?

After years of perfecting stunts and training actors in the TV and film industry, Fly4Real are now sharing the thrill with you. Their outdoor simulator is used by trainee skydivers but is now available, here at Gates, for everyone from 5-year-olds up to 85-year-olds!

The outdoor simulator promises an authentic skydiving experience, set against the backdrop of the beautiful Leicestershire countryside. Did we mention it’s the same simulator that Tom Cruise trained on for Mission Impossible Fallout?

The Fly4Real experience at Gates includes a comprehensive training and briefing session for a small group of skydivers. You’ll then change into your sky-diving suit and helmet before climbing into the simulator for a flying session, accompanied by highly trained experts who assist your flight.

The flights take place in a quiet corner of the Gates site where you are surrounded by woodland and countryside which will make for stunning Instagrammable moments. Your family and friends can watch the action and your visit to Gates wouldn’t be complete without a calming pot of tea in one of the onsite eateries.

Skydiving World champion and Guinness World Record Holder Toms Ivans endorses the Fly4Real outdoor wind tunnel. (Toms Ivans has been the world’s leading flyer in open air wind tunnels since 2012. Ivans works as a wind tunnel instructor both in indoor & open-air tunnels. He also works as a coach & show performer all around the world. He is the Guinness World Record holder for the most bodyflying stunts in a minute & co-author & coach for flight scenes at the “Pirates of Caribbean” show in Disneyland in Shanghai).
