Autumn Gardening Event

Autumn is your opportunity to get rid of dead vegetation left over from the summer, tidy your borders, maintain your lawn, trim hedges and so much more. This season is all about picking up and packing down before the arrival of winter. With a little effort there’s no reason you can’t enjoy the best of autumn in your garden and be prepared for spring.

Join us on Saturday 8^th October for our Autumn Gardening Event from 10am until 3pm. This event will give you the opportunity to ensure you are set with the essential garden tools & equipment to make tough tasks easier. You can discover new products from leading gardening brands such as Gardena, Evergreen & Wolf Garten and their time-saving features. You will receive advice from experts on planting bulbs to get your borders ready for spring and take away lawn care product advice and top tips on feeding and how to keep your lawn looking healthy. Also during the event you can take advantage of exclusive offers on selected products throughout the store.*

What to expect

• From 10am until 3pm we will have professional advice and live demonstrations from leading gardening brands including Gardena, Evergreen, and Wolf Garten.

• Professional advice on spring bulb planting, lawn care and feeding, plus essential garden tools including leaf blowers and collectors, hedge trimmers and cutting tools.

• Experts on hand to answer all your autumn gardening questions, with practical advice and product recommendations to help you power through tough jobs with ease.

• Exclusive offers on selected horticultural tools, lawn care and planting essentials in-store only *

When and where?

The Autumn Gardening Event will take place at Gates Garden Centre from 10am until 3pm on Saturday 8th October. Across various locations within the horticultural department there will be live demonstrations taking place from top brand experts. Glasshouse 4 & 6 will have demonstrations from Wolf Garten and Gardena and in glasshouse 1 we have a representative from Evergreen explaining the benefits of using bulb fibre and feeding bulbs.

This is a free event, no booking is required.
