David Domoney is a Chartered Horticulturalist, national television presenter and award-winning author who has spent his career inspiring people to connect with plants and nature. A familiar face on television, he regularly appears on popular ITV programmes including Love Your Garden, Love Your Weekend, This Morning, and ITV Garden Club.
Throughout his distinguished career he has received 34 medals from the Royal Horticultural Society, including Gold Medals and Best in Show awards at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

What to expect on the evening
During this special talk, David will showcase Gates’ Top 25 Plants – a carefully selected collection of beautiful, reliable plants that can transform any garden. He’ll demonstrate how to use them effectively, how to care for them, and how to ensure they thrive year after year.
David will also explore the joys of growing your own, highlighting fruits, herbs and vegetables available at the garden centre. He’ll share practical tips to help you grow fresh food for your family and achieve truly rewarding harvests.
Nature is also at the heart of David’s gardening philosophy. In this inspiring section of the talk, he will reveal the fascinating wildlife that shares our gardens – from garden birds and pollinators to hedgehogs and pond life – and explain how simple planting choices can help create thriving habitats for them.
